BETA : early draft - targets

We have created a first which I believe captures the direction in which we are trying to make the documentary go. The narrative sections are almost complete. Though we have a lot of work to do on the sound editing.

Something that stands out immediately is the lack of background music to go with the interviews. Which make them seem rather bland and uninteresting. We will definitely add a backing track to help keep the audience engaged when watching. Furthermore, our main character here does not appear as frequently as we'd like so in the final version we would like to include more shots of him to help the audience relate more. We will also be adding video game footage to aid some of the things said in the interviews. This will also make listening to the interviews more entertaining as you can watch something else that relates to what is being said.

Social media research

We've included several links to our social media pages and youtube where we have uploaded the short film:
Including these links allows visitors to easily navigate to our websites and allows them to then be able to keep up with the latest news and updates of our productions, which really aids in marketing any future products that we may produce. This is also a convention of documentary websites. This feature also adds some elements of interactivity which makes navigating through the website more enjoyable.


Facebook is our primary social media page. This is because as of january 2016, Facebook has 1.59 billion users making it the most popular social media page available to date. This is why we would focus most of our professional updates from the production company on Facebook as it is most likely to receive the most amount of views here.
As you can see, following our social media page allows audiences to view exclusive behind the scenes pictures of the filming and editing process that went into creating our documentary. Furthermore our twitter page is similar to many other production pages as using the great follower system audience can receive input from individuals rather than the company as a whole. This makes the interactions seem more personal and allows the audience to relate to our team more easily
